According to Greek mythology, the Chimaera (ki-meer-uh) is a fire breathing female creature consisting of multiple animals. William Faulkner re-defined the Chimaera in his novel, The Sound and the Fury. He described the Chimaera as a woman who dreams, has airy hopes, and has illusions of fabrications of the mind. Often these illusions are of unrealized dreams that exist within her imagination.
Primary Colours is proud to present Chimaera’s Attic as an all female show on First Friday, April 6, 2012.
